Amey's Mark Arndt explains the results of structural analysis of the Forth Road Bridge in Scotland, which was closed to traffic for three weeks last December and has been closed to heavy goods vehicles since then.
A restricted number of heavy goods vehicles will be allowed to cross the bridge during the nighttime period from 4 Feb. The video also explains the ongoing repairs that will allow the bridge to be fully reopened later this year.
There will be a full article about the Forth Road Bridge in the February 2016 issue of Bridge design & engineering.
