The Indian government’s cabinet committee on economic affairs has approved a US$368 million bridge project to take a six-lane road across the River Ganga in Bihar in the east of the country.
The high-level extradosed cable-stayed bridge will connect Patna at Digha to Sonepur. It will be 4.56km long and will run alongside the existing road-rail Warren truss crossing.
