Beaver Bridges is responsible for the design, manufacture, supply and installation of the bridge under a US$4.9 million agreement with the university.
The bridge is being built as part of ‘The Big Build’ a project to transform the Moulsecoomb campus. The campus project is in turn part of a bigger masterplan that includes the neighbouring Preston Barracks site. The Big Build includes new buildings as well as the pedestrian bridge, which has been designed to bring both sides of the campus together.
